About Scotch & Soda

Laurens Hompens is the person who started it all. He launched the “very first” version of Scotch & Soda in 1985 and was mainly focused on menswear. Shortly afterwards he handed over his brand but for many years Scotch & Soda did not manage to reach the top in the fashion world. It was only in 2001 that the Amsterdam brand started to get a reputation. When three men with the necessary experience and love for beautiful clothes, decided to collaborate to turn Scotch & Soda into a huge success. Harry Schofield, Leonard Feinblatt and Leonard Buzz are currently still the owners of Scotch & Soda.

The three gents decided to continue with menswear with the Spring/Summer collection that was launched in 2002. The collection was very popular with many men and a few years later the brand decided to create a clothing line for boys. Scotch Schrunk first brought a collection on the market in 2008 which was an immediate hit. The success inspired the owners to also enter the women’s market. Maison Scotch also became very popular and is now a permanent value for Scotch & Soda. The brand continues to expand with R’Belle for girls, parfums and an own denim collection.

The success of Scotch & Soda is also noticeable worldwide. The brand itself has 94 stores and in additional there are more than 7,000 sales outlets. Otrium has also decided to go with this Amsterdam success story by offering its own Scotch & Soda sale.
